Recent Projects

I've added a few recent projects to my website: http://juliannehamilton.com/, including a poster/flier for an upcoming show. I think it turned out well enough to be part of my portfolio site. I liked these two from last summer, but they didn't quite make the cut.

postcards

My illustration professor from UDel, Dave Brinley, gave everyone in his senior class a hand full of blank, pre-stamped and addressed postcards when we graduated. The first one I sent to him after I got back from a road trip. I swear I saw a sea lion swimming in the ocean in Florida.

The second was inspired by a trip I took this month to Washington state. (sketch in the last post).

Olympic National Park. Exploring patterns, geometric shapes. While I was in Seattle I saw some beautiful aboriginal Australian and American Indian work at the art museum. I was inspired by their consistant visual language translating nature.
