Irrigating





























































































For the last few days I've been making a site-specific installation for the Abandon Ship Exhibition which opened at the Current Gallery in Baltimore last night. I was pretty excited to be part of it. 

I got a studio space at current a couple weeks ago so I would get out of my house and feel inspired to make work. I wanted to find out what was going on in Baltimore and be a part of it. But...the space is being torn down in August so it was kind of funny that I was trying to establish myself there. That's more or less what the piece is about.

looks awwwwwwesome, jham! lovin the straws to the plants to the E to the G. . . did you cut out that 'abandon ship' too?

No, Michael Benevento cut those letters out. I wish I could take credit for it. What a good idea.
